Slides of talks presented and conferences and workshops.
I gave this talk at QIPC2 (Quantum Information Processing, Communication and Control 2) in November 2013. The second edition of the South African conference devoted to quantum information science and technology. The talk is mostly about work with Brian Sawyer and John Bollinger on exact results of correlations functions of the long-range interacting Ising model and how these results will be used in benchmarking their experiments. I have also included some new work with Ana Maria Rey, Kaden Hazzard and Michael Foss-Feig on the formation of entanglement in long-range Ising systems. I presented a similar talk at a workshop on equilibration and thermalization in quantum systems at the National Institute of Theoretical Physics during April 2013. And also at the theory seminar series of the physics department of Stellenbosch University.
This is a talk I presented at the NITheP Theory seminar series in August 2014. Most of the presentation was given on the board. I only showed some figures at the end. This is work done together with Jens Eisert and Salvatorre Manmana and should appear in PRL soon.
Poster presented at the Boulder School: Disorder and Dynamcis in Quantum Systems. This was based on work done with Brian Sawyer and John Bollinger.
